21-year-old Bryce Hall, the patriarch of the TikTok creator collective the Sway House, has emerged as a main character of the new TikTok ecosystem. The Mayor of Los Angeles authorized the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power to turn off Hall’s home utility services in August 2020, for violating the city’s social distancing measures against the COVID-19 pandemic, which include a ban on house parties with large gatherings, which Hall allegedly violated with a celebration of his 21st birthday after receiving several warnings from the Los Angeles Police Department to stop his parties.As TikTok has exploded in popularity, so have its stars. He was charged with a misdemeanor and for possession of marijuana, and posted $5,000 bail the same day. In May 2020, Hall, along with fellow Tik Tok star Jaden Hossler, was arrested on drug charges. Hall, following the culmination of the ordeal, rescinded his statement and apologized to his former manager. Weist later filed a defamation lawsuit against Hall, and the case was settled outside the court. This incident was covered in a documentary by Hulu called Jawline. In November 2017, Hall tweeted out accusing his manager Michael Weist of hacking his Twitter account, and he also claimed that Weist touched him inappropriately and that he was sexually assaulted by him.

Hall later apologized for his tweet, stating he wasn’t clear on the term's meaning and should think before he engaged with the platform. Hall has also been at the center of controversies and legal issues.In June 2020, Hall tweeted about straight TikTok and hetero-phobia on TikTok. Hall is currently dating Zoe Gara, an artist and model who has also competed for Australia’s national martial arts team. In 2018, Hall relocated to Los Angeles, California, where he founded the Sway House.

He has one brother, his elder step brother Brandon Hall. His father’s name is unknown, but he is commonly known as Mr Hall. Hall was born to Lisa Hall in Ellicott City, Maryland, United States, into a Christian household. In April 2022, Hall starred in Skill House, a horror film. The reason for the termination is still not known, but most people speculate that it happened due to fallout between the members of the group. In February 2021, co-founder of Sway House and Talent X Michael Gruen announced that Sway House had been discontinued after a month of rumors. The estate was owned by a talent management company called TalentX. The collective of media personalities focused on creating their own content as well as helping each other in order to go viral. Hall created Sway House with five other online personalities in January 2020 and moved into a Bel-air mansion with them. All his tweets get a plethora of likes and retweets. Hall created his Twitter account in 2014 and currently has 1.4 million followers. He mostly uploads fitness related content and moments from his life, including trips and work. His Instagram account has 7.3 million followers and 423,662 average likes. His content is quite well received on the platform.

Hall uploads content quite frequently, with most of his videos being lip-syncing to audio clips and music as well as dancing videos to popular songs. He currently has 21.3 million fans and 1.6 billion likes. Hall joined TikTok when the app was called Musical.ly. Due to his content, he has gained 3.52 million followers and over 390 million views. His content includes vlogs, comedy sketches, challenge videos and prank videos.

Hall later joined YouTube in 2015 and due to prior fame, amassed followers reasonably quickly on the video-sharing platform. Hall joined Vine and TikTok in 2014 when TikTok was still known as Musical.ly.īy the time the app was shut down by Twitter, Hall had gained a following of more than 60,000 on Vine. His followers' count shot up when he uploaded a video with Jacob Sartorius. He started this channel in order to make friends after being bullied in school. The content on his YouNow channel would mostly be humor-centric but also had the occasional dance bit. Hall’s career began in 2015 when he started making content for the live video sharing platform YouNow.
